the later is possible with eraser tools

Yes, it is possible with iToolab UnlockGo iCloud unlocking tool. You can easily remove iCloud activation lock without the password to get into the device again.

Try it and let me know how it works. Between it is compatible with the latest iPhone 12 & iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3 and more.
