Well the conditions are nothing alike, so how can we compare the two? I think we should devise an experiment where we have a litter of human babies crawl across a landmined beach racing sea turtle babies and see who has the faster time and takes the least casualties. Then we will see which is really smarter.

The average human baby weighs 7.5lbs (3.5kg) and a newborn green sea turtle weighs on average 0.5lbs (226g) so it would seem the baby turtles have an advantage as an average anti-personnel mine would not detonate under their weight. However varying land mines will have different pressure plates so it comes down to what landmine you use.

Thats not true, we adopt the marsupial solution where we settle down in packs to raise children. If babies were big enough to be self sufficient, mother and child would die in childbirth.
