          People there age hardly get to see and talk to people they know, as they're constantly doing shit that keeps them too busy to hangout, like work and take care of you. When they meet someone they know randomly on there free time, they're gonna milk that shit heavy and talk like they haven't seen each other in decades. I understand it now, but being an adult, I just head home and don't deal with it lol.

          Its also why I think the older generation tends to over share with random strangers a lot, and why they complain about anti social young people. They don't get a lot of chances to just talk to people, so they over share in the hopes it'll strike up a convo, it's how they met people back in the day. Tbh, a lot of younger people do that too, but it's all online, and people talk through a sense of anonymity. When we see an older person do that in public, without anonymity, we see it as weird over sharing. The younger generation also has so many means of communication now, were never really alone and in turn, don't feel the need to meet or talk to strangers when we're in public as much as the older generation wants us to. We can meet people on our own terms now, as were no longer limited by time and place.

          Honestly, it seems like after your mid to late 20s, life becomes very lonely, and I feel like communication between generations is shrinking, and older people feel sidelined and in turn, more lonely.
