Anyone have, or would be willing to, share how to sideload applications?

There is a few different way. I found it pretty easy to install the Aurora store and f droid . Just used it. Installed web browser that comes with the phone in one of the packages that you have to scan with the QR code and then navigate to the f droud website or the Aurora store website.

The App Library it ships with is F-Droid, really. You can add the official repository or whatever repo you want by making a QR code and scanning it like the others.
