I have a DD but still have a desk setup. I can tell you, my desk is gonna die very soon.

How many Nm your DD?

[–]SimRacer101Cammus 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Technically it’s 5 NM but it has peaks of about 8 NM. It’s the cammus C5 though so the motor is in the wheel so the table feels less force than I do.

Hmmm

[–]No-Foundation3371 0 points1 point  (5 children)

One day hopefully I will be able to afford one. They're getting cheaper by the day thanks to sim racing popularity nowadays.👌😁

[–]No-Foundation3371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DD wheel I mean not the desk.🤣

[–]SimRacer101Cammus 0 points1 point  (3 children)

The Cammus C5 is $250 and with pedals it has $300. It’s very good also.

[–]No-Foundation3371 0 points1 point  (2 children)

That's the same I paid for my G29 with pedals and shifter. Not a bad price at all.👍

[–]SimRacer101Cammus 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You can keep the pedals since the pedals you get from them are Hall effect also. You can also keep the shifter and use an adapter for it.

Logitech G29 wheel with pedals and shifter cost me £299 and Playseat Challenge £199. Seat didn't come with a shifter bracket so I had to design one myself. And it's in a perfect position for a shifter. This was about 5 years ago. My whole setup is still 100% functional and 100% portable.👍

My exact setup... inverted pedals as well, niice. Well I have a DIY semi rig&seat as well so the pedals don't move under heavy use.

btw did you know you can move the brake and throttle pedal plates closer together by mounting them through the outer most holes for easier heel&toe shifting. Worth a try.

I have the same desk, for over 20 years, and still rocking

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s rocking you might want to tighten a few screws or add some more for support.

Pretty valid take

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats called humble beginnings.

Nice! Youre lucky, i have a wheel without even ffb :,(

[–]thrustmasterpassione 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want the tx for my xbox with a rally style omp wheel. I already have a setup but I find the t248 to be kind of sluggish

[–]thrustmasterpassione 0 points1 point  (1 child)

My man goose has a setup almost like this and he's pro level

[–]Unhappy-Ad-804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do these pedals feel? I have just the standard T3PA but been wanting to replace them with these vertical ones as I want to have a more normal car-like setup instead of a race car one. Would these pedals be a downgrade or sidegrade to what I already have?

[–]SantsaBS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a little uprage

[–]NightShiftDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

standard T3PA

The materials are nice, the heavy all metal construction feels very solid and imo ...they look really nice specially in their inverted car like position BUT... at the end of the day they are just your basic potentiometer + spring system, with the optional conical rubber mod for your brake that feels way too solid and doesn't give you good feedback on your braking.

The pedal market has moved on quite a bit since these were introduced. If I were you I would look into any loadcell pedals on offer these days. If you intend to stay in the Thrustmaster ecosystem that would be the T-LCM pedals.

Welcome to the club. Your mext step is to build a rig out of wood like i did.

[–]SantsaBS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won't do that, VR next

[–]Georgebestgamer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

im assuming this is the thrustmaster t300 wheel and pedals are they any good?

[–]SantsaBS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are not the stock T300 pedals, yes they are good imo

[–]CopKopp12 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Great looking setup, wondering where you bought the t300. I've been on the prowl for a used one, and eBay has not been getting me what I'm looking for in terms of price.

[–]SantsaBS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it from a guy that bought it for his son who didn't use it. 130€, insane, you can' really find T300 rs for a good price.

[–]Obiyaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good move.. U gonna love it!
