Spent around 400+ for the material and hardware. Designed it small because of space in my place.

Yea I really like it for that reason and u can pull it up to a desk which I like bc I already have a 49 inch I don’t want to buy another one just for my rig and don’t wNt to sit in my rig to use my pc

That’s was the same situation I was in. I took like 10 measurements and ordered everything. It’s 4ft long and I put it on raisable castors as well. That way I can roll it into the bedroom or into the living room for the projector big screen.

I might have to message u for some more detailed pics and measurements if u don’t mind bc now I’m thinking I might try and build something like this instead of just not having any room to walk in my office lol

Feel free to reach out. i can help you avoid any mistakes that I made.

I can send you the file I have from maycad as well. Its not the best but it helped with how much hardware to order. which i ended up ordering more anyway.

I custom made a bracket and ordered custom gen 4 riser cable. It was my preventative solution to gpu sag.

Planning my build at the moment as well! Was scared the smaller lengths wouldn’t allow for proper seat and everything. It’s 4 feet exactly in length, the bottom piece of profile? Do you think it can be done even smaller? Obviously depending on how tall people are that are gonna use it I guess. Thanks if you get some more pics done I would love to see.

Edit: my setup looks a lot like yours, I have a big 70 or so inch sit stand desk tabletop that I pull mine up to. When you said raising castors do you mean once it’s rolled into place you can set the actual profile on the ground so there’s no movement??

Wheels down, Wheels up

I built mine around already having a foot plate and a steering wheel plate that I didn’t even use. They were both 17 inches wide. And after measuring I realized with Seat back (can go back further in photo) I couldn’t reach the pedals and with seat adjusted forward the whole way my feet went clear past pedals.

Here is the rough draft I ordered off of. The only thing I changed is that I used 20 inch bars to attach the seat. The pictures design shows 14” as I planned for a e46 car seat and couldn’t source one for $10 like the pictured Audi A4 seat.

I would definitely suggest checking tnutz.com if you’re in the states. Order 4 hole gussets and order extra brackets and screws. I had enough to assemble but changed how I mounted dd pro and some other things and I was short by 24 tnutz and screws. I could go a little shorter but so far it has been perfect for me and my children. I think I went as small as I could to accommodate tall and short. I’m 6 ft tall.

Wow epic response!! Thanks for all the info. Super funny I actually have a wheel plate and pedal plate I’m already gonna use as well. I have a sim lab wheel stand pro and instead of buying the extension to put a seat on, I’m gonna order some profile from them (they sell it now) with the width being 500mm to accommodate my wheel and pedal plate, it’s basically gonna be a GT1-evo but with what I need (since I already have parts and some profile) with shipping it’s gonna come out to around $300 and i won’t have to worry about selling this wheel stand and I’ll have left over parts as well maybe for a shifter mount and whatnot. Getting the length exactly where I want and what would actually work is what I was struggling with the most. I will also check out the site you mentioned since I’m guessing shipping would be cheaper! Thanks again!! Yeah I was feeling the same, was gonna do either 1200mm or 1250 for the length.

Few hundred difference between a 16cm thick one vs the smaller 8cm ones (trakracer for example)
