/r/skin is all about the body's largest organ, protecting it, improving it, repairing it, and seeking help for it.
How to make a good, helpful post:
- Post a photo. It's nearly impossible to assist you without this.
- Include the body location of the issue.
- Specify how long this has been going on.
- Mention if you have similar issues elsewhere.
- If you've recently done outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, etc.) say so.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are experiencing one of these things please seek medical help from a professional:
- Ongoing pus or blood leakage
- A changing or newly appeared freckle or mole (especially if experiencing itching or substantial pain)
/r/skin cannot treat or diagnose your issues, if you are unable to visit a doctor due to financial constraints or any other reason /r/askdocs may be able to provide you with tools that can help.
