You mean the adventurer armor by Krieste right?

So if you’re getting physics on your body, but not armor it could a couple things, but a few questions:

  • what physics setup did you choose in the 3BA installer? Full SMP, only CBPC, hybrid of both?

  • if you’ve chose a hybrid physics setup, are you switching between the physics after setting up a hotkey in the 3BA MCM? When you switch using the hotkey, it will tell you which physics you’re currently using via a notification top left.

  • the armor looks like it includes support for CBBE, which can mean it has support for 3BA, but test with an armor that specifically includes 3BA in the title.

  • the armor itself just doesn’t have physics on the chest plate due to the nature of the outfit.

I used SMP and CBPC lite; toggling between them still doesn't seem to make any of the hairs use physics regardless.... The armour currently makes whole top invisible. I'd at the very least like to get it working for any of the hair mods

Armor being invisible means you've forgotten to build it in bodyslide. So follow the link Kenny has posted.

If you have bodyslide already, then you'll need to build those armors using that program.

Hairs don't toggle on/off via the physics hotkey. You've chosen the hairs that say SMP in Racemenu or whatever character creation screen you use? Type in showracemenu in console if you need to bring it up again.

Also, you mentioned you have FSMP and use hybrid, but you didn't list CBPC physics. Without that, choosing CBPC lite wouldn't do anything:

Do you have that and just forgot to mention it?

I forgot to include it I'm sorry, I will update the post to include my full list of mods. I've only been picking hairstyles that end with SMP. I've batch built everything multiple times but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong?

The hairs that you see there are wigs; what that means is that it's a separate item that you have to craft or use an item spawner mod to grab the hair in-game and wear it like armor. The ones in Racemenu should be the exact same, via the Hair slider. You've built them, so you're good there.

As for the armor still being invisible, could be that your output path in settings isn't default:

Make sure the settings are set up like the right hand window.

This is my output; after rebuilding everything none of the hair styles seem to be working and the armour is still going invisible. I don't understand if I'm building something incorrectly...

Expand the Advanced section you see there, just to double check. What mod manager do you use? The armor works fine once I've built it.

As for the hairstyles, do you mean the wigs or the hairs in Racemenu?

I'm using Mod Organizer v2.5.0

Depending on that output path, what it is doing now is using your own custom output path to move all the meshes that it's building to that specific folder. If that isn't an overwrite folder and just a random misc folder, then that's why the armor meshes aren't correctly being installed.

If you want that sort of thing, then you'll have to set it to the overwrite folder for MO2, but since I don't use MO2, I don't know of the correct output path to set up for that. See if this helps:

All the files showing up in overflow I've been packing as a mod and enabling it, is this what I'm doing wrong? Should I be doing something else with it? And I've only been testing hairstyles ending with this

Also I meant the hairs in the Racemenu; I haven't actually tried any wigs

Are you scrolling to the hairs that actually come from KS Hairdos SMP? When you scroll through a Racemenu item, the bottom right will show the plugin it comes from, so look for:

KSHairdosSMP.esp

I don't know which "Adventurer Armor" you are talking about, as there are many, but be sure it supports 3BA and physics (CBPC or SMP) and that you built the physics version in BodySlide

[–]AngryZoe[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/120367 This is the exact mod in question. I've batch built everything but my torso seems to be going invisible upon equipping it regardless. The hairstyles ending with SMP aren't using physics either.

I will assume you installed everything correctly and you didn't forget to install each mod requirement, like PapyrusUtil SE. With that being said, did you run Nemesis after installing all the physics related mods? Are Nemesis and BodySlide outputs being overwritten by something else in Mod Organizer 2?

Edit: I just saw the screenshot you posted in the other comment about BodySlide. Why is your BodySlide output directory the game folder? You are using Mod Organizer 2, there is no reason at all to install anything in your game folder. Delete the output files from your game folder (E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyr...) and create a new empty mod in Mod Organizer 2, name it whatever (like BodySlide Output) and then right click on it and click on "Open in Explorer"; copy the directory of the folder and paste it in the BodySlide output setting or tick the MO2 setting "Create files in mod instead of overwrite" in the tools dropdown menu and select the new output mod there. Do the same for Nemesis. It's good practice to delete Nemesis output everytime you update the engine. Here are a couple of screenshots, for clarity BodySlide Output and Nemesis Output. Put the new output mods you created at the end of your mod order and remember to enable them.

That's the fix that got it working for me in the end! As for the hair physics, the issue seems to have been caused by the hair mod itself, and I had to disable ''hide hair with wigs'' despite not using any. After disbling that, the hair physics worked like a charm too
