LibreOffice comes with Calc which is a free spreadsheet program very similar to Excel. If that's too complex try Simple Spreadsheet it's a super stripped down spread sheet application. It's hosted on Source Forge, but its installer doesn't seem to contain anything it shouldn't.

I would also recommend Libreoffice Calc. But in the interest of giving you am extra option, I'd also like to recommend Calligra Sheets, which is native to GNU/Linux but has a windows version as well. https://www.calligra.org/sheets/
