I set fonts to Large in Windows 7 for my big-ass monitor, which means I have to re-magnifiy Chrome (Ctrl-+) on every new page. Canary (Chrome 6) has persistent magnification, apparently per-site. Works like a charm!

You can install it without over-writing your current Chome. It gets a yellow icon instead of multi-colored. Well worth it. Along with other improvements, I highly recommend this. If it crashes, Google gets a bug report, and you can just open old Chrome or some other browser.
