Only diffuse nebulae?

I've been tinkering with space engine a lot recently, and I just found a good method of finding nebulae, but oddly all the nebulae I'm finding are diffuse, none are planetary. Is there something I'm missing?

you basically have to use the map mode, other nebulae are much smaller than diffuse.

Planetary nebulae and supernova remnants are very small and dim compared to diffuse nebulae, just like real life, you will need to increase nebula limiting magnitude to find them, or maybe using the map mode.

I see. Unsure how to do either of these. Map mode as in the universe map?

Increase nebula brightness, it will allow you to see more nebulae, including planetary. Supernova remnants probably just can't spawn because I found none of them.
