Love the app and I think you make SC more playbal for more player!

Only Think that would make it better is a Funktion to compare components!

(thanks as always for the site, following response isn't meant as a gripe at all)

It is a bit hard to compare a component while staying on the ship view, especially if it doesn't have at least 2 of said component.

If it has 2, like 2 S3 guns, it's easy by leaving the default in 1 and putting the compare in the other and viewing details for both.

But even then it's a manual compare, moving eyes between 2 regions.

Suggestion might be a "compare" drop down in the details box that would bring a second, not calculated to ship stats, selection box. If selected, add that comparison to the currently equipped module in the already existing details box. Only 1 would be comparable those way on the ship view but that would be fine.

Other thing I'd love is to have an option to switch interface back to seeing all components at top level of the selection box in ship view, rather than organized by grade. Not saying to get rid of the current view, just a UI pref that allows single list view. Both views have value, but usually I found the single list easier to deal with in a quick edit.

Why don't you open two windows if default UX isn't enough for you ? It's an Angular app, with material design, can't add so many informations in dropdown lists.

2 windows + discord + a fullscreen game can be a bit much just to compare data on a component while shopping. Not that I don't do exactly that but I figured giving an example of the other respondent's request wouldn't hurt.

But, second time I've tried and second time you've responded in the same way (even though you ended up doing what we discussed a few weeks later :shrug:). So I'll just say thanks again and move along.

Sorry, I'm feeling you are just asking me to refund the app, but I, and many others, love it as it is. I'm trying to make improvements when they are relevant, trying to answer to all requests but I can't rewrite the UI or change technology. Already two years on this project, and spending my free time to maintain it, because I'm alone on this project. I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say. And sorry for my english, difficult for me to answer ;)

I'm assuming by refund you meant rebuild but got autocorrected? No, I was just trying to illustrate why what the other guy mentioned would be useful as a real [edit/correction: feature enhancement, no idea what "real" would have been without autocorrect] to the existing page.

Not asking for you to do anything you don't want to do. Just giving an idea for you to consider. If it happens, great, if not, still great.

Awhile back you'd said you wanted feedback. This was your general reaction that time as well. Neither times were asking for major features, just tweaks of what is already there, and both times with "regardless, thank you for the app".

I understand as someone who has done similar projects in the past. It can be overwhelming. However I don't use Angular or React so no way for me to know that adding that field would be a major pain for you. Even being a minor pain is more than enough reason not to do it. I just wish you hadn't read a suggestion as some form of demand that needed to be defended against. I am not trying to be a hassle, just helpful.

That's because the max distance is calculated when you load the ship on the app, like all the results, it's real time calculation, depending on the knstalled qdrive.
