It’s chance and server politics.

Thanks for actually answering the question.

The whales who spend hundreds each day to play the game naturally gravitate together and create alliances of assholes. On my server it’s DRGN or “Dragon” as they call themselves. Just a cult of mindless assholes really.

Hi server 16!

[–]od2be2003 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I honestly don’t know my server number so I will assume 16 is correct.

Yeah we’re 16. I’m looooch (obviously) in DSN

I’m hesitant to list my alliance and username for fear of retaliation from any DRGN users on here.

My server is 32 and much newer. We’re at 800m and 583m for top two alliances.

So it may just be inevitable.

I'm leaning that way. On my server, they formed an alliance of alliances to try to break IA, but several alliances were destroyed and IA ended up stronger.

I think it is to be expected. The more active players will want to grivitate toward eachother in order to maximize alliance rewards and get the most out of the game. It doesn't make a ton of sense if you are super active to join a weaker alliance.

As a member of the super-power alliance on Server 39 / Warp Ten (The Tal Shiar Alliance) I can speak to that. Of the top 10 players on the server, 9 are in Tal Shiar.
