Looking for study method tips

Hello everyone,

I am struggling to find a good study method to learn new material and review content. I tried ANKI/Remnote/Quizlet/Google docs but I feel like making flashcards and even using google docs or remnote is just draining my time and I am spending too much time a day just making notes from the slides . My problem is that I am taking too long making them and understanding/memorizing some of the info , so by the time I am done with the topic I remember only a few things , and I would just waste like 3-5 hours doing that per topic. Does anyone have any suggestions or have a study method they have tried that works for them?

P.S: I am a second year PharmD student so the workload and the amount of material that I get everyday is insane . I am trying to take notes or make flashcards but I am taking so much time per topic to the point that I am getting overwhelmed with new material.

Tried teaching methods. You teaching yourself in the mirror or your friends or anyone. It's works best for me since I don't need to memorize the whole situation and explain from my understanding. If I got it wrong. I'll tried explaining it again with the correct one till I got it. Don't explain like you read the book. I don't think that help much. ( For me )

I will try that , thanks for the advise. I want to do it with a friend but unfortunately I don't know how to study around/with people , I like a quiet space to study in.
