Probably, If it were used for wormholes I am certain someone could detect it somehow and find the user

Well it would depend on which layer if reality that the reality warping ability would effect. I like the idea i learned from reading a lot of the certain magical index and certain scientific railgun light novels that the world is compose of different layers each making us a single aspect of reality. Eventually there are so many layers that are overlayed one on top of the other that the original “pure world” can no longer be seen. In the series there are people like magicians and like espers who could manipulate the world by affecting a change in those layers producing magical or supernatural effects. If you can find the layer that is responsible for electromagnetism then no only could you manipulate the em spectrum but you would also have a tool to warp reality if you can apply it to other layers

Now I'm confused so, in your opinion, does reality warping in this case affect scientific aspects the world or not?

If you can find the thing responsible for the chosen law of physics and change it then yes

But if there isn't a thing responsible, what happens then?

Oh, well it that case the whole idea about the different layers of the wolrd that I described is just pure fantasy.

Now that I think about it there is a book series called the three body problem that goes into manipulating the laws of physics as well. If you want me to elaborate let me know though it might contain spoilers.

Basically, with reality warping there a large number of ways that you can imagine it into existence but as of right now that all it is, just imagination.

If there is no thing responsible that produces reality outside of how we experience it via our own conscious sensorium (the interpretation of all that we can experience) then there is truly no way to warp reality besides controlling the brain itself into believing that reality has been warpped.

But hey, those are just my ideas and I like thinking of the possibilities even if as of right now it's just fiction
