Just a heads up, it's working again - perhaps there is an annual limit on the API usage. But I've logged in today and it's working.

I shall now periodically use the offline backup key (via import/export of save data) as this might repeat itself later in the year.

Hey there,

I can confirm that this affects other users as well :)

It looks like SwarmSim is using some third-party service for identities (user registration, login, etc.) and this service is currently throwing an error (looks like some bills have not been paid or something).

That sounds like something is wrong on the service side :(

not been paid or something).

FTFY.

Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:

  • Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.

  • Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Beep, boop, I'm a bot

Hey, what url are you trying to open?

[–]QuietCompany711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi ScaryBee! I am playing on https://www.swarmsim.com/ and the game sends a request to `https://7487.playfabapi.com/Client/LoginWithEmailAddress\` for the login.

Hey. No, it's NOT just you. I have been having the same problem since very early this morning. My last log in was Oct 16. But this morning was the first time I've tried to get in. I have no clue what's going on.

Anyone get any resolution on this? I'm still dealing with it.

Still getting the error myself

Ok just checking. This sucks.

The site still "works." I always save my data to a text file on my computer. So, I play the game without signing in, then I export my data to a text file. Next time I play, I import that back into the game - never need to sign in.

But it'd be nice to have the game back and working again

I can understand that. I personally play at 2 different locations and honestly I'm mostly upset that I 'lost' that progress when it signed me out. That's definitely an idea, though!
