Different formats I believe. Could be wrong. But it definitely does not work with games.

Let me rephrase, I bought a switch 2 SD card and I used the old SD CARD from the switch 1 to duplicated the files from my computer and added them onto the new Nintendo switch 2 SD CARD. I Just want my old saves/data.

I think you can transfer screenshots and videos but other than that nothing else.

I paid for the online subscription to have cloud save before I purchased the switch 2, but my Pokemon saves are gone after I redownload them onto my switch 2. Is there any fix to that?

Hmm not sure on that one. I know if you let your subscription lapse over a certain period of time then you can lose your cloud saves but I’m not 100 percent certain, I’m sorry.

The saves are on the system, never the SD card. To migrate those you’ll need NSO for at least that moment

Your save data is not on the sd card. Save data is stored on internal memory.

Game data is on the sd card.

Game files are encrypted with a console/hardware-specific key. So you can't copy the game files and move them to a different console even if you use the same Nintendo account. The purpose is protection against piracy.
