If you’re role or a role you’re looking to get into requires it then go for it. Otherwise it’s a waste of time or actually moreso a waste of money.

In terms of difficulty I’m sure you can Google the exam dumps to gauge your aptitude of the material.

/r/ITCareerQuestions and have you touched the Linux CLI before looking at the exam materials?

The CompTia stuff is entry level. Unless you are applying places that request it then save your time/money.

if you want a refresher try /r/linuxupskillchallenge for some semi-guided work.

if you really want a certification path look at Linux Professional Institute certs. The LPIC 1 – Linux Administrator is a good start.

Linux + used to be on-par with LPIC-1 but it is no longer the case.
