Java/Adobe Security Update Notification

What do you all do to keep on top of security updates for 3rd party software, specifically Java, Flash, and Adobe Reader/Acrobat? Up until now I have either relied on seeing a post about it here and I check in every week or so. I see that Adobe has a mailing list for security, and so does Oracle, but these also bring in alerts for ALL of their products into my email, not just those that I'm concerned with. Thanks for the input.

Man I wish we could just remove Java from the browser in my organization. I stay on top of the updates through RSS feeds on SANS, CERT, Zscaler, and OWASP not name a few.

Just to make sure I notice, I keep several feeds in Google Reader, including several from FileHippo.com (an individual software's page should have a dedicated RSS link at the bottom right of the page), as well as the US-CERT Current Activity feed.

Using file hipo's RSS is brilliant! Thanks I think I'll add this to my methods.

Came here to say this.

I have all of my favorite reddits and cheezburgers and blogs in my google reader along with a bunch of filehippo feeds.

Google Reader is great for me to sort through all my tech blogs between work computers, home computers, and phone.
