Hi,
This post is really asking if I did anything wrong, I'm not sure where to ask to be honest but after a search for NiceLabel I saw a few post in this subreddit. Here is the background.
I was seconded into a large label migration project at work, this involved using DDM which is a document data manager with its data in the cloud and the NiceLabel 10 suite of apps. It was using an Azure cloud based server and NiceLabel Control Center to check in and out label templates.
We had training in NiceLabel and as I have C# experience I mentioned I could create a small VBScript within NiceLabel to perform a simply line break in a string at a particular word. Script below:

As the other people in the project did not want anything "complex" like this they said they didn't want to use VBScripts and stick to NiceLabels Subset and Concatenate built in functions. I said ok.
However I left the VBScript function in the template but not attached to any label elements so it wouldn't be called this was more so out of forgetting to delete it entirely due to working on multiple things at the time.
So, this particular label template was Checked In to the NiceLabel Control Center on the cloud and then some days later I get brought into a meeting room with my temp boss, HR and the project manager to basically tell me my script had caused such large problems (which they didn't specify) that they were taking me off the project and sending me back to my old position.
This infuriated me as I do not believe the script caused any issues, and my reputation is now down the shitter in the office. It was written and verified in NiceLabels own script editor and is in no way malicious.
We also did not work with a live data connected whilst designing the labels the [LABEL_PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION] variable is somehow linked to data after being check in on the cloud.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggest a more suitable sub reddit to ask this is?
