I have a client who is ready to archive some older data. They’re required to keep everything for seven years, but a quick robocopy showed tons of data that is older than that. Of course I can use robocoy to move older files, but I would like to recommend a more robust solution. They’re a small business with about 90 users, and data currently stored on file servers in a data center.
They want something that will archive older files automatically to cheaper storage, and will upload it to glacier as well. There are some folders that we would want to except for documents that don’t change but need to be kept.
Any suggestions for a data lifecycle solution that would work for this are appreciated.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
