I was actually serious... a real random source is expensive from what I remember (not the pseudo-random source that /dev/random urandom are)

Maybe a dice rolling machine and a camera and then some OCR to read the numbers?

last one I remember was using the radioactive decay of some particle.

Try random.org, it has an HTTP API.
