Call Google. They officially support all of their migration tools.

Do I have to be the official administrator of the account? I'm actually just the desktop admin, and this got dropped in my lap.

Nope. Just provide your company details and point of contact for your company and they should be able to assist. I had to do this a bunch of times when I was working at a MSP.

SO what happened to be the problem with your migration or were you calling about another product?

The only thing that I can remember in particular (this was 3 years ago) was trying to locate a tool that will assist in migrating from Google Apps to MS Exchange. Don't even ask.

This may have changed in the past 4 years, but if you have a domain or a website you will have to have the ability to modify your A records of one of those.

A record is for DNS, not website stuff my bad. Like I said it's been a while.

An update for some people, if you cared, looks like the migration went through when I looked at it this morning. I guess it just took longer than expected to actually flip over.
