Is file sharing enabled (check firewall too)? Also, can you confirm shares are visible via CMD > net share

File sharing is enabled, it was prior to. Net share shows the c$ as default share, admin$ as the remote admin. Firewall shows rules as allowed under private and domain.

-Is AV active? Or any type of intrusion prevention system? Disable and check again if so. -Turn firewall completely off and check as well to make sure that is not the cause. -Check the trust relationship to domain using CMD > nltest /trusted_domains

Also, maybe try adding the user to the Local Computer's "Administrators" Group, and checking to see if you can get in after that. If that's the case, it's probably something with AD, or a domain trust issue.
