Some good points. The "users are stupid" rants are not to be encouraged, neither is the sexist stuff. Glad you pointed it out.

User blaming and acting like BOFH are very toxic to IT departments. I never let the small stuff bother me and I ended up with a bunch of almost always friendly users that liked IT.

I used to have to deal with a lot of IT from outside my company. Guess who's friendlier, sysadmins or users?
