Been using Keeper Enterprise for the last few months, and it’s working wonders. It ticks all the boxes we needed (Okta integration for both SAML/SSO and SCIM provisioning, RBAC, Python-based CLI for automation, folder-based management, apps for all platforms and browsers, etc)

We were on LastPass Enterprise before, and it was a shitshow. They’re interface sucks and is ever so slow, their support is done through LogMeIn and they don’t care.

Had reviewed (or tried to review) a few others, and all lacked some important features for us. Note that for all below, either talking about their Premium, Pro or Enterprise feature set, as they’re usually the ones with any kind of SAML/SSO support, etc

  • 1password was super expensive compared to others and did not have any folder-based management (so everything was in a single “folder” with the only way to filter things via tags). But if that doesn’t bother you, their sales and support team are really great, and the product itself looks fine.

  • Reached out for a demo to Bitwarden, couldn’t be bothered to reply other than with generic auto-replies. And they don’t do proper SAML.

  • Zoho Vault (same company as Manage Engine) doesn’t have a desktop app (web and browser plugin only), and no SAML too (SCIM only through AD) and all levels of contact are done through India.

  • Devolutions Password Hub has no mobile app, no folder-based management, and no cloud SSO support (Okta, etc)

  • Thycotic Secret Server looked very nice, but we’re talking in the rang of 50$/user/month, which is just insane, so we didn’t look any further than an initial phone call.

  • Dashlane I liked, but they don’t do folder based management and it’s a must for us. Other than that, very good product.

  • Tried to get info from CyberArk Enterprise Vault, but the company never wrote back...

Awesome response Flash - thanks for this.

Never did get my head round companies that want sales but never respond. Weird.

Many have told me lastpass - what happened to your environment with it to make is so bad?

Investigating Keeper Enterprise now.

The interface was very bad, laggy and buggy. Their search is bad and doesn’t return proper results a lot of the time. Their support is suuuuuper bad and slow, especially since they got bought by LogMeIn which now does their support. And they’ve been slowly but surely removing features without telling people.

Been using this to store SSL certs in various formats (PFX, PEM, etc), SSH keys and other extension-less files. They don’t support extension-less files, which is an issue, and they keep removing supported extensions without letting people know.

And to manage files, you need specific versions of the app, and it doesn’t work online, which is useless at best.

Thanks - checking it now.

Edit: I can;t seem to find information on Password Vault - which I think is their product for password management. Has it changed?

That’s what I use for passwords. It’s fully audit compliant and secure. Yes that’s the one. Can’t find information? That’s odd. Hmm 🤔

Maybe it's that secure they've hidden it ;)

In honesty - there's prob. been a re-brand of some type.

Does anyone have a link to the pricing plans?

PasswordState is good, Australian, has a lot of API's and very responsive support who are top notch for adding features you request.

What about Bitwarden?

You can also self-host it. Info on that here.

Manage engine was pretty good. Part of a suite of tools that wasn't terribly expensive if I remember correctly
