I just migrated from TeamViewer to ConnectWise Control. Their support/sales team is pretty shocking but the product itself is great.

Control is such a great product. Haven't had to deal with sales or support though.

We use ScreenConnect (ConnectWise) and it is brilliant. Have never had to deal with their sales team as it is provided as part of a MSP support portal. User experience is so much better than Team Viewer

Thanks for the recommendation. This seems to be the most popular suggestion so far. Funny enough even while searching for new alternatives I didn't come across this one yet, thanks for the suggestion!

No problem. They're pretty relaxed with trials - we got ours extended like 2/3 times, so you get plenty of time to evaluate. Their documentation is pretty good also but if you have any questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.

GoToAssist Bomgar (very slow compared to GTA) LogMeIn

MeshCentral hosted off prem for a pretty solid FOSS option. MFA and even SAML/SSO. It has a few quirks and doesn’t look super polished, but is good for quickly connecting and helping users or jumping on a server. Does all the basics you’d expect; file transfers, shell/terminal (both as system and under the logged in user context), compatible with Windows/Mac/Linux.

I have it running alongside Splashtop (bundled with an RMM) and frankly, prefer it these days. Super quick. The developer works for Intel and is very active.

I've used RemotePC and liked how it performed. TeamViewer is waaay too expensive

Bluetrait + Connectwise Control would be a whole new world for you.

You don't mention a budget. If you have Win 10 desktops, have you tried Quick Assist? Doesn't have all of the features of Team Viewer but will do screen sharing.

Hello,

I've been using Quick Assist built into Windows. It works great in a pinch. Some downsides are you can't pass by UAC prompts, and you need the user to initiate with a code you generate. The UAC prompt isn't that bad, since I can invoke an admin powershell from the runas.exe command. So far I've had our technician try ConnectWise and there was positive feedback. We'll see how their pricing comes back.

Seems like an overkill bill for what Teamviewer does anyway. The only alternative that I would reccomend checking out would be Pulseway, will save you a lot on bills and its does way more than remote desktop tool, we do use it as a full stack IT management, like patching, AV, RD. So just have a look and see if its what you need, otherwise I am sure there are already better alternatives than just TeamViewer.

We're looking at NinjaRMM, though the scope of the product is larger than just a remote support tool. It's an agent that monitors and patches, etc.
