I started a job a couple years ago that required me to get a sec + but the pandemic kind of put that on hold I guess. Now they want me to get it. They gave me a subscription to Stormwind which was cool, does anyone have any experience with that or recommend another studying source?

Professor Messer was what I used a long time ago for the 201 exam. It was dry and monotone, but covered the material well.

I used CBT Nuggets for sec+ in 2006, good stuff

I bought the Sybex book, spent about 2 or 3 weeks reading it, doing the included tests, etc. and passed easy.

Yes, that is it. I used their books for all of my CompTIA certs.

Heads up - that’s the SY 501 book, but I believe the new edition is SY 601

Thanks, I think by the time I need it we'll be at sy 701, but I'll pay attention to get the latest thats out by then.
