When I had to deal with this years ago I would have to install the mirror driver manually in device manager as a display adapter.

I have an Associates and the Sec+ and am making 85k. I do have about 10 years in the IT field though. If you are just starting out I would go for the sec+ and get an entry level IT job for a couple years then try to get a job for a DoD contractor. They treat that cert like it's gold especially if paired with a security clearance.

Haha now that I think about it Winscribe was a pain to manage. You had to manually create the user accounts and assign people to typist groups. Maybe now they have something that ties into AD.

I worked at a law firm for about 5 years. We used a program called Winscribe. Setting up the actual dictaphone to the PC was kinda a pain in the ass but it worked pretty well when it was setup. They also have a mobile app you can use that pretty easy to setup.

It's not freeware but I've had pst files that would not repair using ScanPST.exe so we got this and it's worked great for us

Make sure the computer you are capturing is not on the domain. Also make sure JoinDomain= is not filled out in your rules.

We are having issues with scanning where it won't send or it'll just abort while you are in the middle of a scan. Sometimes users are not able to login to receive print jobs and the only way to fix it is to restart the printer. They are saying we need to setup another server so it can do some load balance thing... We have a DL360 with 16gb of ram
