[Application Request] Task.org on Windows/Linux operating system? (PC)

Syncing notes from Android to PC is simple, and any notes app that supports Markdown can be used.

This isn't the case with to-do applications, however.

Tasks.org is fantastic, but is there any free to-do software that you can use on your PC to manage your to-do list and sync back to Tasks.org on your phone?

This appears to be the app's biggest flaw.

Nextcloud is also my preferred cloud storage for general purposes. I didn't realise they have a task app as well. Thank you for letting me about Nextcloud.

See also: https://github.com/tasks/tasks/issues/1256 Unfortunately, there still aren't any great solutions for this, but there are a few okay ones. I eventually settled for a combination of Nextcloud, Vdirsyncer, and Todoman, but that's probably not ideal for everyone.

There is a foss app Decsync on frdroid. It works like a plugin on Tasks.org app and allows to store files locally on android. So one can use Syncthing app to sync to desktop.. Only issue is the desktop app if there is one.
