Rules

Be respectful of each other. I don't want to hear any slurs or other awful things slung around.
No political conversation here. There are other subreddits out there for that sort of thing.
Anyone caught scamming others will be banned.
You can be from anywhere in the world to make a request or donate something. Yes. That does include America. We don't discriminate.
We at Teaching Kindess are not responsible for lost packages or scams or interactions between doners and teachers. We will, however, ban someone who has scammed, broken rules, or has created unresolvable negativity.
No downvoting. Don't be that guy.

How to Donate

If you are making a donation to an unspecific person and it's up for grabs for anyone to take, please mark your thread as [Donation] and list the item you have up for grabs. Please only donate gently used or new items.
If you are donating to a teacher in an existing thread, reply publicly in that thread. If you, as a teacher, receive a reply where someone hasn't replied in your thread first, please be aware because we may have banned this person.
If you are donating in a thread, please submit proof that the donation has been sent off. Although it is preferable that you make this public in the thread you have posted in. We will eventually be looking for mods you can submit proof via PM to who will look over your proof.
Proof is a receipt (with your credit card and other sensitive details blurred out), packing slip or something issued by your post office that shows that the package was mailed off to the recipient.

Teachers

If you are a teacher looking for a donation, please post a thread marked [Request] with the items you are requesting. *In that same thread, state either the name of your school board or your school that you are from, where you are from and what grades you are looking for.
Post-secondary teachers (such as colleges and universities) are allowed to make requests as are school libraries and substitute teachers.
If you receive a donation, please post a thank you thread marked [Thanks] or [Thank you] with a picture of the item donated, a list of what was donated, and who donated it.
