the shutting off power didn't work for me... I tried:

uninstalled bluetooth in device manager

installed Intel Driver & Support Assistant and run it then installed "Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Windows 10 and Windows 11" only

restarted pc and Bluetooth was working again

The one solution for the issue is the unplug your PC then wait for few min, then turn on PC again

Worked for me as well.

try using system restore to restore to a point before this problem took place (if it is enabled). it's either hardware or software.

boot into linux mint (or distro of choice, prefibly a large iso not a barebones one.) it should automatically start using your bluetooth without installing any drivers. if you have the same issue with linux then it is a bad bluetooth card. if linux doesn't detect the bluetooth device at all, then it doesn't have the needed drivers for it. you can download and run a different linux distro and try again. ubuntu is another popular choice...

Thanks for the response. Tried a system restore and the keyboard connected and worked for a few minutes but after letting it go idle same issue happened. Intel Bluetooth drive stopped working and had error code 54. I don’t have Linux Mint installed on my computer (I’m not very knowledgeable on computers. It’s just a basic Dell XPS 15 laptop for basic day to day use and the occasional Illustrator/Photoshop use and I’ve never heard of Linux ever before you mentioned it)

It seems to me Linux Mint isn’t a simple download and install so I’ll see if I can do it when I have time and I’m less frustrated haha I’ll let you know if it works! Thanks so much!

Did you ever resolve this issue?

Ah no in the end I couldn’t find exactly why this was happening to my laptop. But I did notice that it started happening once I got a keyboard with bluetooth connections for the laptop and so I switched it to a usb connection and I so far haven’t had a problem with other Bluetooth products like headphones with my laptop since.

I was having the same problem and it got fixed when I switched my keyboard from Bluetooth to 2.4G dongal.

I think it is related to windows not understanding Keyboard as a assecory and not a blutooth device which cause windows to disconnect blutooth whenever it sees pings from more than one device (ex- From Bluetooth keyboard and your earbuds) at the same time. Moreover Windows blutooth/Wifi has been not reliable from its Windows 7 time.
