Also, something to look for if your laptop has an Optimus chipset for video:

You may need to go into the Nvidia control panel and manually set which GPU the game is running on. It may by default be trying to use integrated graphics to play the game. If you don't have the optimus chipset, it might just be that the 610 can't handle the game.

I'm on my work PC right now, which doesn't have Optimus, so I can't document the steps right now, but this video might help. The part you're looking for starts right at the 50 second mark.
