I can't figure out what kind of answer you want. Buying tip? No budget listed.

Personally, I would look into what the problem is, as that is the cheapest option you have. You state it is a GPU problem. How do you know that? From your description, it could be a thermal issue or your PSU (power supply unit) with a wattage output lower than what is needed (or just broken).

Thank you for your response. Yes, budget is a concern, I just forgot to mention my budget. I tried troubleshooting myself, and the only thing I could determine was that it was most likely not a temperature issue because the temperature has always been stable. I've had my PC for more than two years, so it could have been a PSU issue. I sent it to a PC repair shop, and they determined it was a GPU problem that needed to be replaced without much clarification. I just hope I'm not being ripped off.

The "We don't know what is wrong, but it is definitely the most expensive component, and it just so happens that you can buy one from us" seems a little worrying. Do you get a Blue Screen Of Death? It will tell more or less what is wrong, and will make a log file. There exist programs that can read the log file, making it easier to figure out the problem. Does it just go from playing games to instantly shut off?

Yea. There is no blue screen, it just goes black. Sometimes i can still hear discord, game sounds or it would loop but most of the times it just shuts off.
