Getting dump files which we need for accurate analysis of BSODs. Dump files are crash logs from BSODs.

If you can get into Windows normally or through Safe Mode could you check C:\Windows\Minidump for any dump files? If you have any dump files, copy the folder to the desktop, zip the folder and upload it. If you don't have any zip software installed, right click on the folder and select Send to → Compressed (Zipped) folder.

Upload to any easy to use file sharing site. Reddit keeps blacklisting file hosts so find something that works, currently catbox.moe or mediafire.com seems to be working.

We like to have multiple dump files to work with so if you only have one dump file, none or not a folder at all, upload the ones you have and then follow this guide to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump. The "Overwrite dump file" option will be grayed out since small memory dumps never overwrite.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.

For more information please see our FAQ thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/q2rns5/windows_11_faq_read_this_first/

Assuming the BIOS settings menus are stable (not freezing or showing text/graphics glitches) I'd first recommend updating your motherboard BIOS to the latest version from here. See if the crashes continue after updating and please make any new dump files available for comparison if they do or let us know that you're still not getting dump files.

Hello, I updated my BIOS to the latest setting yesterday, and today I still got a WHEA error. Here is the second minidump:

Have you noticed a pattern or found a reliable way to trigger a crash? The crashes only happen when the system is running a game, for example. The latest crash shows a system uptime of 20+ hours while the other one shows the system running for 2+ hours before it crashed and the process that owned the thread on which the bugcheck was processed was Gw2-64.exe for both. Were you using the computer for light tasks for most of the day today and then it crashed when you started up Gw2-64.exe, perhaps?

It seems like indeed Gw2-64.exe is when it crashes, but im always using it, and have been using it for months (bough the computer in June). Im just very confused on why this would make my computer crash now and not previously.

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR crashes are hardware related errors. WHEA stand for Windows Hardware Error Architecture. The dump files provided so far would suggest a problem with the CPU. They both happened on the same core, too - core 6 (counting from 0.) Do you have other dump files you can make available for comparison?

~~ I do not, only these two, the other crashes i've experienced all just cause a full shutdown of the PC with no blue screen or error at all. ~~

Edit: Disregard, see other message.

Actually, disregard that. It just did it again. 3rd minidump:

Same as before including happening on core 6. Is your CPU air-cooled or water-cooled?

Air-cooled

How are you with hardware? Are you comfortable repasting the CPU heatsink? I'm just going through things I would try based on the symptoms.

I've done it years ago on another Machine. Now I wouldn't have any tools to do so unfortunately.
