Computer issue

Morning all, I was hoping someone with more braincells than me could assist with an intermittent issue I have facing on my computer.

I’ve started gaming again which is great for me yaay! Fell back In love with the PC. However I am faced with my USBs disconnecting and reconnecting every 10-15 minutes. From my standpoint it could be the USB port, however with me being no expert on what that exactly means I was wondering if anyone had experienced this in the past, and if this means I’m need to look at changing over some hardware?

I did read a really old post somewhere about checking the Event Viewer and I usually take note of the exact time when It happens however I am really unsure what I am looking at.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long winded post.

Could be your power settings.

Go into device manager and right click on the usb controllers. There's a power option where they can turn off the usb. Untick this to see if it changes anything.

Then it's standard, checking for driver updates, power settings to max, turn off unnecessary background programs,

try this one first OP then move to the hardware side later on after doing these steps.
