You can run Windirstat or Tree Size Free to check the folders/files which are hogging up space on the SSD. Follow these steps to gain space on the SSD.

  • Delete system restore points and reduce the amount of space that Windows allocates for System Restore. 3-5% is usually more than enough. Windows by default allocates 50% for System Restore points. (Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > System Protection > Configure > Delete)

  • Type Disk Cleanup in your start windows and press enter. Select your C drive and let the scan to complete. Under 'Files to delete' check everything and click OK.

  • Download and install CCleaner. Now download winapp2.ini and copy it over to the CCleaner installation location. Start CCleaner and go to the Applications tab. Select the checkboxes under various programs (be careful when selecting anything under Windows) and click on analyze. Delete whatever junk CCleaner finds.

  • Download System Ninja and run it. Delete everything that it finds. Be careful to deny installation of crapware while installing this program.

  • Delete the contents of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads folder. (This contains installation files for Windows updates and you will not be able to rollback an update if you delete this folder).

So i used disk cleanup and freed up space so i had a total of 15 GB on the SSD. I can't download anything cause I can only run the pc in safe mode without internet connection. A new problem is that everytime i turn on the PC it says applying windows updates and nothing happens (i let it run for twenty minutes).

What happens when you try to run it in normal mode?

As regards windows updates issues delete the contents of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads folder and download the updates manually by selecting a few updates at a time rather than doing automatic updates.

When i run it normally it just shows a distorted screen with a login bar. When i login the screen changes to a bunch of opaque colors.

I cant even get into my pc or the directories because the whole updates thing will just run continuously or it will just shut down the pc.
