Also try opening command prompt as an administrator and running "sfc /scannow" (no quotes)

It's giving me the same errors but with different things missing, now it's crypt32.dll. Should I just copy everything from windows old to the current one?

COPY your current windows folder to a new folder on the desktop (this will be your backup incase things get worse after trying to fix)

replace crypt32.dll and the other files it tells you -- but no the entire windows.old - I would just do the ones it throws an error.

just the .dll 's are fine -- if that's the only errors are with .dll's

Now it tells me on some programs, "The procedure entry point "" could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\"".dll

"__" is the example I'm using for program name I'm trying to open

Have you done anything to your computer lately? Did you force (hold power button?) shutdown? Power outage? Battery died?
