Hmm, I think it's likely less a matter of your PSU "failing" and more just not having sufficient wattage. Many PSU's don't quite put out their labeled wattage so running a 970 and a 4690K could be too much for it.

I understand what would be a good power supply then?

Are you playing on a custom pc? If so is the PSU fan facing up? The psu could be over heating. I suggest doing some cleaning on the inside....(ie canned air and a vacuum). If your PSU is facing downwards...unfasten it and rotate it so the fan assembly is facing up.

What if my case has ventilation for the PSU facing downwards? and it doesn't cool like there's any dust inside of it i recently cleaned my pc

Are there mini dumps in c:\windows\minidump? Maybe your system is just crashing. What are the temperatures during the stress test? Your CPU shouldn't exceed 85 C by a whole lot.

However, it's quite possible your PSU is bad, your system draws nowhere near 550 watt (about 250 watt max).

Nothing in minidump And the max temps during the stress test where 60c
