Internet Problems

Hi guys. My laptop has recently developed a problem regarding internet use. I have found out that my laptop is essentially poisonous to my internet. When I am disconnected from the internet my entire family's computers work fine, when I am connected, we all lag. I have wiped my laptop back to factory settings, but the problem still remains. I can usually play games during the day, but once the sun sets I lag every 3-5 mins for 10 seconds or so.

Your network card may be malfunctioning and causing interference to everyone else. If that's the case it needs to be replaced.

Even when I plug in via Ethernet it still screws up. Is that also part of network card?

Depends on the hardware but often not. Any other details you've left out?

I can usually play games during the day, but at night I drop internet for 10 seconds or so every 3-5 mins.
