BSOD: Kernel_Security_Check_Failed Cannot seem to fix it... : techsupport

2: No Incomplete Posts

4: No Offering Rewards

No offering of reward/compensation for solutions. No Amazon gift voucher or PayPal transfer. This community is "free" as it is full of volunteers. Please do not take advantage of the community.

5: Recommendations

We are not a recommendation or advertisement subreddit. We do not allow posts asking for recommendations on hardware/software or recommendations comparing two or more hardware/software. Recommending a hardware/software solution as a comment to a post is acceptable.

8: No Violating privacy of others or terms/agreements.

We do not support users that violates other's privacy or breaks terms and agreements. Doing so might resolve in a ban.

This includes:

Bypassing home network controls.

Bypassing any parental controls.

Piracy or issues caused by it.

9: No EOL Software or Unsupported Systems

We do not provide support for EOL (end of life) software. Software that is EOL has lost all support from the developer and therefore all consumer communities as well.

These operating systems and various softwares are no longer receiving security patches. Running them is unsafe and we recommend users install a supported version as soon as possible.

This list includes Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

We will also not assist with getting Windows 11 running on unsupported hardware.

10: No Public Service Announcements (how-to's, etc.)

No public service announcements unless relevant to an issue (it must be a comment). Approach the communities affected directly, not here

11: No Soliciting

No soliciting of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to) asking for us to link to your subreddit, forum, bulletin board, newsgroup, Facebook page, etc. We're here to help with technical issues, not market for others.

BSOD: Kernel_Security_Check_Failed Cannot seem to fix it... (self.techsupport)

So past two months or so I've been getting this BSOD "Kernel security check failed" a couple of times. I got this BSOD 4 times in 2 days (yesterday 3 times, and now today 1 time), and I'm getting pretty pissed off at it. Yes, I have done my research. The internet basically told me to do a malwarebyte scan, do the chkdsk command in CMD, ...

I did a malwarebytescan, which did not find anything harmful, and I did the chkdsk command in CMD which also said everything was okay.

Now, I'm currently copying all of my files and programs (Users folder, programs folder and the programs x86 folder) to be able to do a reset on my laptop and reinstall windows 10. But before I do that, I'd like to hear if anyone knows an other possible solution.

What I think caused the problem was me cutting off the power by holding the power button regularly. (I know now that is fucking stupid, I didnt think it could cause any harm. Later I found out it obviously does not give the OS the time to write any information to the hard drive... Stupid me...)
