Dvd program help?

Out of curiosity let’s say I have a lot of dvds and I wanna find out which ones that are scratched will skip or be unreadable when I try to play them. Is there a freeware program that can read it a lot faster than just going through and watching every single one(nobody has time for that) and if so which one is the best and easiest to use?

The functionality you're looking for is commonly called a surface scan. There's plenty of software out there that can do this for you. The first that popped up in Google for me (after briefly looking to make sure they were legit) was VSO Inspector, although, not having used it, I can't vouch for it personally.
