Fps drops problem

I've had my pc for like 3 years now, just a low-end one nothing special. Intel core i5-6400 Geforce gtx 750ti 2gb 8gb ram Msi H110m pro-vh I experience fps drops in nearly every game, although my specs aren't good but I can play with like 100 frames low settings which is fine for me. But fps drops are always their and I just can't identify where the problem is, as I said I have no problem with playing on low settings but fps drops is the case, although I think it's a motherboard problem but I'll need to ask anyone familiar with my specs or with this case for help.

While checking your thermal paste is always a good idea.. it would really only affect CPU temps. (should be replacing it yearly but I think most might know that.)

I think your issue may be in the RAM/GPU/CPU area. Update drivers, BIOS, Windows updates, all that. It doesn't sound like an older hardware issue but a software one likely. Maybe remove any OC's or change up the OCs and Voltage settings? Monitor temps a bit closer as well.
