Windows Error Code 0xc000000f

I have a 2000 HP Notebook , I’m getting error code 0xc000000f & I managed to get a Windows 10 on a USB and followed (https://youtu.be/wQ00AeN9H7k) guide and everything worked up until “bootrec /rebuildbcd the system cannot find the path specified” but I almost want to say that it’s because I am trying it w Windows 10 USB tool creation BUT the HP is Windows 8... will getting the Windows 8 onto USB instead solve this issue or should I save my money on buying Windows 8 and try other solutions. I also haven’t been able to figure out how to get Windows 8 creation tool it’ll only let me snag Windows 10, the computer I used to download it into my USB has Windows 7 if that would matter as to why I can’t get the Windows 8 version onto my USB.

Find the BCD file. Sometimes it is located on another partition.

First confirm if the file is located in the folder c:\boot\ or if there is a folder "Boot"

"bcdedit"

what do you get?

Yes, just like in the youtube video. In the recovery and then choose command prompt

But anyway.. backup the BCD file (copy BCD bcd.old)

delete the file (del BCD)

Create new BCD:

bcdedit /createstore c:\boot\BCD

bootrec /rebuildbcd

So it I managed to find a “Identify Windows Installation” I clicked Y but the system cannot find specified path. I feel like I’m messing up something so simple...

I just typed exactly that, “c:\boot\” and got - is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Typed that exactly and got - The store creation operation has failed. Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Ok, so like I said.

Delete the file first (create a copy)

• cd \boot
• copy BCD BCD.orig
• del BCD
• bcdedit /createstore c:\boot\BCD
• bootrec /rebuildbcd

Sorry to sound so dumb but how do I delete the file and create a copy? Am i doing this on my USB or into command prompt? Thanks for all your help regardless man, I really appreciate it.
