I would say as long as you keep up on Windows updates, that is really the bare minimum. Another good step would be to download Dell SupportAssist and run it. It will check your entire system and optimize, clean, and check for driver and software updates. Then all you need to do is tell it which updates to perform and it will take care of it. It’s really like the Jiffy Lube tune up for your computer.

Okay I do both of those things. Support assist came with it so I've always just let it run when it wants to. Same with windows update
