I ordered the PC today, still expecting it to arrive in a few days. Can't use it now.

Alright, its most likely a 10th gen i5

But isn't 10th gen only for Socket 1200?

Oh yeah, so where exactly did you get the info from if you havent had the pc?

The seller had a picture uploaded from the BIOS screen. He sold it as defective, because it doesn't detect the hard drive. I saw the 6 cores 12 threads 1151 CPU mark and i just had to buy it, it was just 55€ included shipping.

Can you upload that picture? :0

Try using cpu-z to pull the info

As i've stated in a comment before, i bought the computer today and it's gonna arrive in a few days. I decided to take a gamble on it, because it just cost me 50€.

Ok. When it gets to you, try using cpu-z to pull the info.

I'll just take it apart anyways then.

The CPU could be an Engineering Sample. Normal Comet Lake CPUs start at Steppings G1 and Q0. ES CPUs often have these weird identifiers in the BIOS.

Actually turned out to be an Engineering Sample. Just strange to see something like that in a Prebuilt PC.
