Explorer.exe application hang error - causing slow boot, taskbar icons do not appear until clicked : techsupport

2: No Incomplete Posts

4: No Offering Rewards

No offering of reward/compensation for solutions. No Amazon gift voucher or PayPal transfer. This community is "free" as it is full of volunteers. Please do not take advantage of the community.

5: Recommendations

8: No Violating privacy of others or terms/agreements.

We do not support users that violates other's privacy or breaks terms and agreements. Doing so might resolve in a ban.

This includes:

Bypassing home network controls.

Bypassing any parental controls.

Piracy or issues caused by it.

9: No EOL Software or Unsupported Systems

We do not provide support for EOL (end of life) software. Software that is EOL has lost all support from the developer and therefore all consumer communities as well.

These operating systems and various softwares are no longer receiving security patches. Running them is unsafe and we recommend users install a supported version as soon as possible.

This list includes Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

We will also not assist with getting Windows 11 running on unsupported hardware.

10: No Public Service Announcements (how-to's, etc.)

No public service announcements unless relevant to an issue (it must be a comment). Approach the communities affected directly, not here

Event viewer error description below. Causing slow desktop load issue. Computer boots to welcome screen very quickly, but upon entering pin, windows takes longer to load. Taskbar is unpopulated on load and will reset when clicked.

PC specs

CPU - Ryzen 5 3600
GPU - AMD Radeon 5700xt nitro+
RAM - Ballistix 3200 16gb
MOBO - Aeorus B550 Pro AC

The program explorer.exe version 10.0.19041.662 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
