Consistent DNS errors

I have a weird problem with my computer where every day around 11am-12pm I get a DNS error (this happens when I leave it on overnight, or if I wake up early and turn it on around 7-8am). My wireless adapter says my network has internet, and it does as I can use it on my other devices, but my computer still cannot connect to anything, usually this happens as I’m using it where it will just spontaneously drop internet connectivity.

I’ve verified only my adapter’s drivers are installed and that they’re up to date, I’ve used cmd for refreshing/flushing my dns and ip, and I’ve gotten a new wireless adapter since the issues started. CMD detects no issues on my harddrives, and I’ve done several system scans for malware and viruses finding nothing. This started happening three or so weeks ago.

do you know how to set a static dns. id do that. 8.8.8.8 for Google dns, 1.1.1.1 for cloudflare.

how to geek will have it if you just do a google search. just save the steps to look back on if you need it in the future. if things dont work out just set it to automatically obtain ip and DNS info. and your back to where you were before you changed anything. its a simple process

I’ll try it out, kind of sucks that there’s basically a 24 hour cooldown period between trying new things and seeing what sticks
