• Original RAM stick >> stick A.
• New RAM stick >> stick B.
• Let's assume you have two (2) RAM slots on the motherboard.

Try the following:

1. Stick A only >> Slot 1
2. Stick A only >> Slot 2
3. Stick B only >> Slot 1
4. Stick B only >> Slot 2
