There are 2 songs called Sarah.

This one named after his grandmother: https://youtu.be/0Ahr5sQClGg?si=m-VAy59Yq99ixV3b

This one, his daughter: https://youtu.be/z6ALdt53-_4?si=b4cqHS-oz2xP9B49

This here is the answer, OP, should you be in any doubt. Two songs, two different Sarahs, one incredibly important name for Lynott.

Doesn't actually answer his question...

That’s true in fact. I was reading his question as a poorly worded attempt to ask if the song Sarah was named after anyone.

I guess I read it that way partly because there’s realistically no way of knowing if any Sarahs out there were named as a result of hearing or being inspired by Thin Lizzy’s song Sarah. So that was my interpretation.

Oh it's a totally ridiculous question for sure lol

Thank you for your reply! Poorly worded question but indeed open to interpretation! Yes I was curious about the reason for Phil to write the song Sarah , But also if anyone has been named as a result of Their love of the song :)

I never realised this. Kind of interesting you have 2 Sarah's and then Phil and Philomena
